Appointed to the AMPAC Board of Directors in 2008, Lisa Bohman Egbert, MD, serves on the Congressional Review Committee and the Membership Fundraising Committee. Dr. Egbert is a board-certified OB-GYN in a full-time solo practice in Dayton, Ohio.
Dr. Egbert received her medical degree from The Ohio State University. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Ohio State University and Mount Carmel Health System.
Dr. Egbert has represented organized medicine at numerous levels. She has been an Alternate Delegate to the AMA House of Delegates from Ohio since 2002, and a member of Reference Committee F since 2007. She is also a past Chair of the Young Physicians Section (YPS), and has served as a Delegate or Alternate Delegate to the YPS, the Resident and Fellow Section and the Medical Student Section.
Dr. Egbert has also served as the Vice Chair of the Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA) PAC Board of Directors. She also served on the OSMA Governing Council from 1995-1996, and was a Delegate to the OSMA House of Delegates in 1992, 1993, 1996, and from 1999 to the present. She is also active in the Montgomery County (OH) Medical Society, where she has served on the Legislative Committee from 1997 to the present, and on the Bylaws Committee since 2000. She has been a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1999.
Dr. Egbert and her husband Bradley, an anesthesiologist, reside in Kettering, Ohio. They have three children.
