Appointed to the AMPAC Board of Directors in 2014, Justin Bishop is the Medical Student representative on the AMPAC Board. He serves on the Congressional Review Committee and the Membership Fundraising Committee. In 2016, Dr. Bishop completed his MD at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) in Lubbock, Texas, having earned a BS in biology at Texas Tech in 2005 and a MS in Marine Biology at the University of Southern Mississippi in 2009. He earned a MBA in 2014 at Texas Tech in Health Organization Management.
Dr. Bishop has already had a deep involvement in organized medicine, having been selected as the Texas Medical Association’s (TMA) Student of the Year in 2014. He has held many leadership positions within TMA and AMA, serving as an Alternate Delegate from TTUHSC and TTUHSC Chapter Treasurer in 2013. Mr. Bishop has also served on the TMA’s political action committee (TEXPAC’s) Membership Committee in 2013-14.
Dr. Bishop lives in Lubbock, Texas.
