AMPAC’s 2012 Capitol Club Sweepstakes Winner Announced

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Cathleen Woomert from Millville, PA is the winner of AMPAC’s Capitol Club “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” Sweepstakes.  Dr. Woomert is a radiologist and joined AMPAC for the first time this year as a Platinum Member.

Dr. Woomert and a guest will attend the 2013 MLB All-State Game on July 16^th and the Home Run Derby contest on July 15^th at Citi Field in New York, NY.  Included in the grand prize is round trip airfare for two, hotel accommodations for three nights, transportation to the games, and an official MLB All-Star Souvenir.

Dr. Woomert’s name was drawn during the AMA’s Interim Meeting in Hawaii.  All Capitol Club Platinum donors for the current year automatically received five entries for the Sweepstakes, Capitol Club Gold donors received two entries, and Capitol Club Silver donors automatically received one entry for a chance to win.

After being notified as the winner, Dr. Woomert shared her thoughts on AMPAC.  “Contributions to AMPAC strengthen the voices of all physicians.  Your AMPAC support allows the AMA to advocate on your behalf on the issues facing physicians and patients as well as residents and medical students.  I would urge all physicians to participate in AMPAC.”
