As the winner of AMPAC’s “2011 Big Game Package,” Dr. Kobler and a companion will attend Super Bowl XLV on February 6, 2011 at the new Cowboy Stadium in Arlington, Texas!  Included in the grand prize is round-trip airfare for two, hotel accommodations for three nights, round-trip event transportation to Cowboys Stadium, a game day cocktail party with former football greats and official Super Bowl XLV souvenirs.

Dr. Kobler joins Dr. Bobby Mukkamala (2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics) and Dr. Brenda Powell (2009 Presidential Inauguration) as the third Capitol Club Gold member to win the annual Capitol Club Sweepstakes. 

The winner of AMPAC’s annual Capitol Club Sweepstakes is drawn annually during the Capitol Club Gold and Silver luncheon during the AMA’s Annual Meeting.  All Capitol Club Gold donors for the current year automatically receive two entries for the Sweepstakes and Capitol Club Silver donors automatically receive one entry to win.

It is anticipated that there will be no conflicts between the AMPAC Federation Meeting and SLSC activities on January 6 which will allow for a lengthier program than in 2010. As always, AMPAC’s goal is to provide an informative program for state PAC leaders on important issues like fundraising, compliance, and the overall political climate for medicine. More information will be available in the coming months. AMPAC also welcomes suggestions and input for the 2011 meeting at jim.wilson@ama-assn.org.
