Dr. Armstrong is currently an ophthalmology resident at the Harvard Medical School Ophthalmology Residency Program in Boston, Massachusetts. Grayson received his medical degree from The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and concurrently obtained a Masters in Public Health focused on Health Care Policy and Management from Harvard University in 2014. He completed a transitional year internship at the Cambridge Health Alliance of Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Armstrong has dedicated a large portion of his career thus far to organized medicine. He has been an active AMA member since 2005 and has served as both a Medical Student and Resident delegate to the AMA House of Delegates, where he currently represents the American Academy of Ophthalmology as well as residents nationwide. He has also served as the Chair of the AMA Medical Student Section, the Vice Speaker of the AMA Medical Student Section, the Alternate Delegate of the Resident and Fellow’s Section, and as a the Chair of the Medical Education Committee of the Medical Student Section. Additionally, he has served in various leadership capacities within the Massachusetts Medical Society and the Rhode Island Medical Society.
Dr. Armstrong lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts where he enjoys traveling, playing guitar, singing, and running in his spare time.
