American Association of Physicians of India Origin –Secretary for Colorado/Wyoming Chapter.

Campaign School in 90s and then Candidate Workshop and Campaign School in 2010.

Have you run for public office? What was the result?

Colorado House of Representatives, 14th District , won uncontested in November,  2010.

Have the programs helped in your political careers? How?

Learned basics about how to run Campaigns.

Prepared me for the changes that go with being a physician to becoming an Elected Official.

How to get your skin “thick.”

What was the most important thing you learned from AMPAC programs?

You have to ask for money yourself.

What would you say to members of the medical community thinking about becoming involved in politics?

Get involved as soon as you can before it is too late!
