Ryan Ribeira, MD, MPH

Dr. Ryan Ribeira, M.D., M.P.H., is an accomplished physician and innovator in medical simulation. 

Currently, Dr. Ribeira serves as an assistant professor at the Stanford University School of Medicine. He is also the CEO and Founder of SimX, a company that develops professional-grade virtual and augmented reality medical simulation software that is used to train physicians, nurses, and other health professionals. As CEO, he oversees business strategy and leads the executive team, working to revolutionize medical training with cutting-edge technology.

A longtime contributor to organized medicine, Dr. Ribeira has been deeply involved with the American Medical Association. He has served in the AMA House of Delegates and held leadership roles for five years within both the Medical Student Section and the Resident and Fellow Section governing councils, including serving as chair of their respective caucuses. Dr. Ribeira has served on the Board of Trustees for the California Medical Association and on the Board of Directors for CALPAC. 

He received his medical degree from the UC Davis School of Medicine and his M.P.H. from Harvard School of Public Health with a dual concentration in health care policy and management and public health leadership. Dr. Ribeira received his bachelor’s degree in business management from Brigham Young University. He currently resides in Mountain View, California, with his wife and children.
