Become a Physician Advocate

The AMA’s Physicians Grassroots Network (PGN) connects physicians from across the country and empowers them to advocate for solutions to the most pressing issues in medicine. By joining PGN, physicians receive timely updates, policy news, and reminders to contact Congress and help make a difference in the outcome of health care legislation. Membership is free and open to all physicians regardless of AMA membership status.

If you have a good relationship with a member(s) of Congress, join PGN’s Very Influential Physician (VIP) network. As a trusted source of information on health care, VIP physicians can make a difference in policy decisions made by members of Congress.

Join these free networks and get involved in advocacy today!

Physicians can also encourage their patients to join the AMA’s Patients Action Network (PAN) and get involved in health care advocacy. As a member, patients receive important updates on issues impacting their access to care and opportunities to contact Congress and make a difference.
